Sunrise Wauwatosa is committed to making our voices heard in our community. An important way we accomplish this is "actions". Actions are everything from protests in the city center, to writing postcards to city aldermen. Take a look below to get an idea of what our actions entail, as well as the actions we have completed in our run as a hub.

• "This is Your Backyard" action: Sunrise Tosa got up bright and earl yon January 1, 2021 to bring awareness to the Wauwatosa Common Council's Clean Energy Resolution. The motive behind the action was to make people aware that there was a resolution that was passed to make Tosa reliant on renewable energy by 2050, but there had been no effort past the resolution to do so. 

• "Tosa Can't Wait" action: Sunrise Tosa produced custom postcards that were sent to the Wauwatosa School Board in hopes that the board would start to compose and create a plan for the district to encourage less food waste and recycling in Tosa schools! 

• "Earth Day" action: Tosa Sunrise sent out flyers to many Tosa elemetay schools encouraging kids to show their appreciation for Mother Earth with side walk chalk! Many children drew on the playground t their schools, and sidewalks throughout Tosa. This actions hoped to engage kids in our community and introduce the principles of loving the earth at a young age.
